GKAISA Championship City Meet Information

What is the GKAISA Championship City Meet?
The GKAISA Championship City Meet is a 3-day (Friday, Saturday & Sunday) regional meet for summer league and year-round swimmers on summer league teams. This meet is held July 26th - 28th at the Allan Jones Pool at the University of TN campus.
The 11 & Ups swim preliminaries on Friday, the 10 & unders preliminaries are on Saturday and the top 16 of both age groups return on Sunday for the Championship Finals. Check the GKAISA Meet Info Quick Chart on our website's Team Manual section for event order, scoring, etc. for this meet.
Kids who swim in this meet have the unique experience of swimming in a world class collegiate facility - (the Olympic athletes trained here last year!) - and they get to see their name lit up on the big scoreboard when they swim! :)
WCST will have a large tent set up on the lawn at the pool where parents and swimmers can relax when they are not swimming or watching races inside at the pool. A potluck breakfast and lunch will be served under the tent on prelim days. Concessions serving hot food are also available at the pool as well as vendors selling t-shirts and swim gear.
