Michael has been a part of Whittington Creek since he moved to the neighborhood in 2007 and has grown up with the team. His favorite strokes are breaststroke and butterfly, and even though he once used to cry and hide around the WC pool when he was 10 to avoid the event, he still enjoys a nice IM as well. Michael just completed his Master of Business Administration in Cybersecurity at University of Tennessee (way to go Michael!!!) Outside of Whittington Creek, Michael loves to work out at Rocky Top CrossFit, freelance graphic design, play various sports, enjoy good food, and loves anything to do with the Tennessee Vols.

I am a triplet, yes you are reading that right, with 2 brothers, Andy and Ben Mowery. I have been swimming for a total of 12 years summer swim, and 7 years club, and used to swim for TNAQ. Over those years I have gained multiple awards; from a national cut in the 200 backstroke (Futures), to best teammate of the year award. I will be attending Wake Forest University in the fall, where I plan on studying Biology with a minor in Neuroscience. I am looking forward to share my love of swimming with WCST. Go Crocs!
