WCST - Thanks for registering for Swim Team 2015!
Hello 2015 Parents and Swimmers! We are so excited that swim season is about to begin!!
You will soon be receiving a welcome letter from Head Coach Erin Gaeckle - who graduated from the University of Tennessee last weekend and is currently spending some time with her family in North Carolina - and we congratulate her on her accomplishments as a swimmer and a student!! The rest of our coaching staff has just finished another collegiate year - or is graduating high school this weekend - and they will soon be getting everything ready for our first swim practice on Tuesday, May 26th!
In the meantime, I wanted to pass along a few team business items:
1) Families who registered for the team are now uploaded onto our team website - and that is where most team business is conducted. You can log into our website using the email address you gave at registration and the password "Crocodiles" (be sure to capitalize the C). Our website address is www.wcst.swim-team.us - please take some time to log on and look around. There's lots of good information on here....and there are some cool, new, mobile smartphone features that have been added for 2015 that I will tell you about later....but for now, log on and check it out!
2) We also have a Facebook page called "Whittington Creek Swim Team Crocodiles" - please "Like" us! The Facebook page is an easy way for the Coaches, the Board and Team Members to share last minute information, news, events, photos, etc.
3) And most importantly - there will be a Parent Information Meeting on Monday, May 18th from 7pm - 8pm in the Whittington Creek Clubhouse. Please join WCST President Andy Barre and other Board Members for an informal presentation covering important things parents need to know about our swim team. All are welcome - and new families are encouraged to send at least one parent to this question and answer session.
If you have any questions or any problems logging into the website, just let me know. Thank you and welcome to the team - GO CROCS!!
