Here are a few things you need to know for the Maryville/Alcoa Meet (at Springbrook Pool, 636 Vose Rd, Aloca - Tues 6/16):

- Swimmers need to be at the pool at 5:00pm dressed and ready to swim for warmups! Meet will start promptly at 6:15pm.

- It takes approx. 20 minutes to get to Springbrook. You can click on "Get Driving Directions" on the website under Swim Meets - just click on WCST at Maryville Alcoa Meet.

- Please enter the Springbrook Pool to the right of the main entrance. WCST's team area will be behind the diving well. The WCST swimming lineup with the list of events for your swimmer will be posted there - so please check for it when you arrive.

- There is plenty of parking in front of Springbrook Pool, however, overflow parking can be found at Alcoa Elementary School.

- Bring towel, swimsuit, goggles, sharpies, money, sunscreen, bug spray, dry clothes. Optional items - camping chairs, blankets, small coolers. Temperatures are forecast to be hot, so please be sure to stay well hydrated.

- There will be no Clerk of Course. Swimmers will get our cards from our lineup parents and will be responsible for getting to the starting area in time for their event - 10 & unders start from the street side of the pool, so if parents could help their swimmers get to events, that would be appreciated :)

- All Meet Volunteers will be called to report to a short meeting before the meet. 2nd Shift Workers will be called to report to their stations - so please listen for an announcement halfway thru the meet (approx. 7:30pm). Thank you for volunteering!!

- Concessions will be behind the diving well and are sold by Delphinos. Pizza, salad and pasta can be purchased for as little as $4 and snacks, drinks and other items are also sold.

- After Meet Pizza Party at Pero's On the Hill, 7706 Northshore Drive - Unlimited pizza buffet plus spaghetti, salad, and sodas or tea. Adult beverages available - but at an additional cost.

- Ribbons will be given out at practice on Wednesday morning - unless otherwise notified - and are placed in a folder with your last name. Your swimmer's time from each event will be on their ribbon - or on your parent page on the website under the Actions tab.

- Smoking and alcoholic beverages are prohibited in the pool area during all GKAISA meets.

- Please check the WCST Weather policy on the homepage of the website. We will swim in the rain - so bring your rain gear if rain is in the forecast - although the weather forecast looks mostly clear for the meet.
