WCST - Tips and Info for the Crestwood Hill facilities
Here are a few things you need to know for the Crestwood Hills Swim Meet (8750 Fox Lonas Road - Tues 6/21):
- Swimmers need to be at the pool at 5:00 pm dressed and ready to swim for warm ups! Meet will start promptly at 6:00 pm.
- Limited spots in parking lot, but after the lot is full, please park in the grass behind the pool. They will have signs directing traffic. Please pull into the field and do not block access to the grassy area for other cars. Do not park on the street surrounding the pool. Cars may stop to unload at the gate on the way to the "field" behind the tennis courts.
- We will be set up on the grassy area between lane and the tennis courts. Please keep the concrete deck along pool clear for coaches, officials, and workers.
- Bring towel, swimsuit, goggles, sharpies, money, sunscreen, bug spray, dry clothes. Optional items - Tents, camping chairs, blankets, small coolers.
- All Meet Volunteers will be called to report to a short meeting before the meet. 2nd Shift Workers will be called to report to their stations - so please listen for an announcement halfway thru the meet (approx. 7:30 pm). Thank you for volunteering!!
- A concession stand will have a variety of items. Items include pizza, hamburgers, hot dogs, nachos, sodas, Gatorade, water, homemade cookies, and puppy chow.
- After Meet we will be going to the Soccer Taco at the Northshore Town Center. They will be serving a Taco Bar Buffet. The cost will be $10 per person which includes a soft drink
- Ribbons will be given out at practice on Wednesday morning - unless otherwise notified - and placed in a folder with your last name. Your swimmer's time from each event will be on their ribbon - or on your parent page on the website under the Actions tab.
- Smoking and alcoholic beverages are prohibited in the pool area during all GKAISA meets.
- Please check the WCST Weather policy on the homepage of the website. We will swim in the rain - so bring your rain gear if rain is in the forecast.
- Consult the WCST website's FAQ page for more great info!
See you at the pool! GO CROCS!!
