It's always amazing how fast the Summer flies by when you are having this much fun!! Even though we didn't have a winning season within our league, WCST placed 4th for the second year in a row at the Smoky Mountain Invitational Regional Meet where 30 teams and 1600 swimmers participate!! And we had 60 swimmers go to the GKAISA City Championships and 47 of them made it into the top 16 to compete in the Finals on Sunday - that's the most we've ever had make it back! WCST ended up finishing 14th out of 31 teams at City - and had 2 first place wins - not bad for our little neighborhood team of 115 swimmers :)

We want to say THANK YOU one more time to our Coaches - you do much more for our kids than just teaching them how to swim - and for that, we are so grateful!

A special thank you goes to the Parent Volunteers for giving their time and helping make everything possible - we couldn't do it without you!

And thank you to the Whittington Creek Homeowners Association and Lifeguards for always supporting our team!
