WCST - Time to RSVP for Beaver Brook / RSVP for SMOKY!

First, thank you to everyone who swam or volunteered last night! It was so much fun to watch everyone not only swim fast but also cheer each other on throughout the meet– yall are awesome and we're so proud of you!

Our next meet is next Thursday at Beaver Brook. The google form worked really well last week so we're using it again (link below). If you've already used the team website to RSVP you don't have to fill this out, but unless you're 100% sure you've already done it please just fill this out right now! DUE MONDAY (6/26)

Also..... Smoky is only three weeks away!!!! The Smoky Mountain Invitational is the largest outdoor swim meet in the US with more than 1,600 swimmers and 30 teams competing. The event is an all day meet always on a Saturday and Sunday in July, with older kids swimming on Saturday and younger kids on Sunday, hosted by the Maryville Alcoa Flying Dolphins swim team at the Springbrook Pool in Alcoa. For non year-round swimmers only. WCST will have a large tent at the meet where families can hang out in the shade between events and will provide a potluck breakfast and lunch. There are also concessions at the pool, swimsuit and swim gear vendors, t-shirt sales, and an additional pool with a large slide that swimmers and siblings can enjoy all day for a nominal fee.

Our entries are due really soon, so we need to go ahead and RSVP. This form (link below) is for both little kids and older kids, but remember that they are on different days– older kids Saturday 7/15 and little kids Sunday 7/16. There is a place on the form for you to tell us your swimmers' individual event preferences, but coaches will make final decisions based on what is best for the team. Please do not request certain relays. If you have any questions about the meet, feel free to call/text me or talk to me at practice! We LOVE Smoky and our team always does really well, so I hope as many of you as possible will come and swim! DUE WEDNESDAY (6/28)
