WCST City Meet - Time Sensitive Information!!!

The 2025 GKAISA Championship Meet is quickly approaching!

The Daily Meet Schedule has been adjusted for Saturday (finals day). UT swim team will be practicing on Saturday morning, moving GKAISA's start time back an hour and a half (only on Saturday!). General schedule is as follows:
10 & Under athletes: Thursday, July 10th, Warm-ups begin at 1:00 pm; Competition begins at 3:00 pm.
11 & Up athletes: Friday, July 11th, Warm-ups begin at 7:40 am; Competition begins at 9:00 am.
Finals all ages: Saturday, July 12th, Warm-ups begin at 9:10 am; Competition begins at 10:30 am.
HEAT SHEETS: Results will be available during the meet via Meet Mobile and will be considered finalized once announced (not until announced). Results will also be posted on the GKAISA 2025 City Meet page at the end of each day.
PARKING: Parking will be allowed in the parking garage across from the Allan Jones Intercollegiate Aquatic Center. Parking passes will be sold in advance by GKAISA at a cost of $10 per day. Passes must be pre-ordered and prepaid in advance during team registration. No passes will be sold during the Meet. If you would like to purchase parking passes for any days, please text me at 865-230-3395 and venmo me @Raina-Almquist and I will place the order. I must have the Venmo payment to order the passes as the fees are due upon the team registration. This is due by JULY 3rd. Apologies for the short notice!
TENT: Our team will have a tent outside of AJAC - Please bring chairs and other items you need for a typical meet. We will be sending out a Signup Genuis for drinks and snacks. Please volunteer for items to bring. We will be providing sandwiches on both days of prelims, but will not provide anything on finals day.
CITY FINALS DINNER: We will be meeting at Bravos Italian Restaurant on Bearden Hill at 6:30 on Friday July 11th. We will need a final head count by July 8th. Your swimmer does not have to be swimming in finals to attend! This year they are requiring that we order the food ahead of time and it will be served family style. Our group has become too large for them to accommodate us on a Friday evening ordering off the menu. The cost is $29 per person which covers tip and tax. If you have special dietary needs, please let me know. This includes salad, two pasta choices, and a main entree. Cash bar will be available. I will send out an RSVP for the dinner. You can pay me via venmo @Raina-Almquist or drop a check in my mailbox at 9190 Hemingway Grove Circle.
VOLUNTEERS: There will be a few volunteer opportunities for this meet, but not nearly as many required from us as in a dual meet. Further communication to come.
