Our first meet is tomorrow night, Monday June 7th- so exciting! I know swim meets may be new for many of you - but this is what our Green & White practice meet is for - to help everyone learn the ropes. Thank you to all of you that have signed up to help. It takes all of you to make it happen. Thank you!! **If you haven't signed up please do so today**

Tailgate style meet will remain!!!! It was so much fun last summer, we decided to keep it in place. The parking lot outside the pool will be closed to cars beginning tomorrow morning at 7:45am. You are welcome to set up tents, chairs, etc anytime during the day tomorrow. If possible, please walk to the meet to help with parking. If you drive please park on the street only. Do not park in the roundabout. To add to the fun, each home meet we will award a $50 Target gift card to the best decorated tent. *Determined by the coaches* All themes welcome!

Here are a few things you need to know for the Green and White Meet this Thursday: - Meet schedule:

• 4pm Setup begins at pool - any parents who could be at the pool to help set up would really be appreciated!!
• 5pm Warmups for Swimmers - arrive at pool for warmups
• 5:15pm Meet Worker Sign-in - report to Scorer's Table
• 5:40pm Worker's meeting - Referee & Meet Director will give short instructions for all positions
• 6:00pm Meet begins - let's swim!!
• Approx 7:30 2nd shift Meet Workers will be called to report after event 35 to relieve 1st shift workers
• End of Meet Cleanup begins - any parents/swimmers who could help clean up would again be appreciated!
• Pizza Party immediately following pool cleanup

What to bring: Towel, caps, swimsuit, goggles, sharpies, money, sunscreen, bug spray, dry clothes. Optional items - tents, camping chairs, blankets, coolers. Smoking and alcoholic beverages are prohibited in the pool area during all GKAISA meets.

• Please walk swimmers to the main gate to clerk of course when your event is called. To watch your swimmer you may come into the pool deck or use our viewing area along the outside of the fence. Once your swimmer has completed the race, please exit the pool deck (including swimmers) until the next event.
• The list of events for your swimmer will be posted on a bulletin board on the fence in the parking lot, so please check for it when you arrive. OR you can download the free Swimtopia app on your phone to easily see a list of your swimmers events and your volunteer commitments. The homepage of the website has more info on this app.

- WCST Concession stand will be in the pavilion offering hamburgers, hotdogs, snacks, candy and drinks. - FREE After Meet Pizza & Tailgate in the parking lot. - Parking is limited near the pool - you can park along the Boulevard - but NOT inside the traffic circle/roundabout - thank you! - Heat Winner Ribbons are given out after each heat to the first place swimmer. Heat Place Ribbons (1st, 2nd, 3rd, etc.) are given out at practices following the meet and are placed in a folder with your swimmer's last name. - Consult the WCST website's FAQ page for more great info!
