It's time to RSVP for the Green & White Meet! The meet is this Thursday, June 6th at 6 pm. Plan to be at the pool around 5 for warmups. This meet is just for practice– it's a great opportunity for new swimmers to see what meets are like, for parents to learn volunteer positions, and for all swimmers to get updated times for the season. 

RSVPs are due this Tuesday, June 4th by 3 pm. You'll also need to sign up for a volunteer position. All families with a swimmer in the meet are required to provide one volunteer for half the meet. Instructions on how to RSVP and volunteer will be at the bottom of this email, but first a couple of reminders about meet RSVPs in general:

1. Dual meet RSVPs will typically be due two days before the meet. It is extremely important that you RSVP by the deadline even if you are not coming! We can't work on the lineup until everyone has RSVPd– if you don't respond on time, one of the coaches will have to call you personally.
2. If you need to change your RSVP after the deadline, contact me directly as soon as possible. With that said, this is strongly discouraged. Once our lineup has been set it's very difficult (if not impossible) to remove someone from the meet without disrupting every swimmer in their age group. I understand that sometimes things come up unexpectedly, but if that happens, please let me know as soon as possible. 

Instructions to RSVP:

This year we're going back to RSVPing directly on the website. Follow the steps below to RSVP:

1. Use any web browser (phone or computer) to go to the WCST home page (https://creek.swimtopia.com).
2. On the right side of the page you'll see a tab for the upcoming meet which has two buttons: one is "Job Signup" and the other is "Meet RSVP." Click on MEET RSVP.  
3. If you haven't logged in, you'll be prompted to do so at this point using the login information you created during registration. Save your login info to make future RSVPs easier!
4. At the bottom of the screen (below your children's names), click on the Edit button. 
5. You will see a drop down menu for each swimmer. Select Attending or Not Attending for each swimmer.
6. After you have responded for all of your swimmers, CLICK SAVE.
7. To sign up for a volunteer job, go back to the meet tab on the homepage and click Job Signup. You are only required to have one parent volunteer for half the meet, but it takes a lot of volunteers to run a meet, so we encourage you to sign up for more than one position if possible!
