City Meet Info
Can you all believe city meet starts tomorrow?!!! Lots of info about the meet below (entries, warmup times, parking, change to clerk of course, team dinner, volunteers)
Attached is our final entry list including relays. At this point no changes can be made except individual scratches. If you have already talked to me about a scratch, I will handle it at the meet tomorrow. If you have not talked to me already, you need to swim all your events!!!
Older kids should be under the tent tomorrow by 7:40. We will begin walking into the pool a few minutes before 7:50.
Little kids should be there on Saturday by 7:55. We will begin walking into the pool a few minutes after 8. After the 10u warmup on Saturday, we will do a tour of the pool for new swimmers and families to show you how to get to clerk of course, where to pick up your swimmers after their races, etc.
Finalists should be there on Sunday by 7:25.
Parking will be available in the garage across the street from Allan Jones (also within sight of our tent). However, you will be charged $5 every time you enter. If you plan to leave the meet and be back, just be aware that you will have to pay for parking again. Street parking is also available.
This year the girls and boys pools at prelims are switched from what they have been in the past. Girls will swim on the scoreboard side and boys will swim on the diving well side. This also means that clerk of course locations are switched! Parents, you'll also want to be aware of this when you go inside to watch your kids swim :)
Finally, don't forget to sign up if you're planning to attend the city meet team dinner on Saturday night at Bravo (RSVP on Facebook or talk to Amy Sanford) AND sign up to volunteer at the meet!!! As of the end of practice tonight we still had unfilled worker positions– if these are not filled the team will receive a point penalty AND a monetary fine.
NOW, go get your swimmers in bed to rest up for city meet TOMORROW!!! Can't wait to see you all there!
