Hi everyone!

As Raellen said in her previous email, our RSVPs for both City Meet and our last dual meet against Gettysvue are due tomorrow by 8 pm. 

The Gettysvue meet is this Thursday at home. Swimmers should arrive by 4:50 for our warmups at 5:00. The meet will start at 6. As always, team dinner is at Pero's after the meet and RSVPs are included on the form. Anyone with a swimmer in the meet is expected to volunteer for half the meet.

City Meet is Friday July 27th - Sunday July 29th at UT's Allan Jones Aquatic Center. 11&ups swim prelims on Friday, 10&unders swim prelims on Saturday, and all ages swim finals on Sunday. Swimmers must have competed in two meets this summer to be eligible for City (Smoky counts, but Green and White does not). If your swimmer has only competed in 1 meet so far but swims the meet this week against Gettysvue they will be eligible! The RSVP form includes a place to request individual events– choices are the same as Smoky Mountain (dual meet events + long freestyle races). Relay requests will not be honored. City meet t-shirt orders are also included on the form. Shirts are available in sizes YS - Adult 3XL and cost $15 each. Money will be collected at the pool– there is an envelope in the team binder, which sits at the coaches table any time we are there.
